Bestwood Country Park is a 650 acre park on the Northern fringe of Nottingham, with a variety of different wildlife habitats. From mill lakes, teeming with waterbirds, to meadows full of flowers, from ancient oak woodland to a reclaimed pit tip. There is no visitor centre at Bestwood, just toilets and car parking, but there are miles of foothpaths to enjoy some of the best bird watching in the county.
